Delete your ResetHive account

What gets deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes the personal data associated with your account from our database:

• Your profile and account preferences (including username, country, language, and gender identity)
• Your recovery programs, progress counters, reset history, and all daily reflections (mood and optional private notes)
• Your craving logs
• Your community post and reply text, with deleted placeholders left only so existing threads do not break
• Reactions you have given to other users' posts or replies
• Support chat messages and admin notes tied to your account
• Inbox notifications
• Device push-notification tokens
• Your authentication record, including your sign-in email

Deletion removes the active ResetHive records immediately and is irreversible. Limited security or operational logs may remain with service providers according to their own policies. Once deleted, we cannot recover your account or data for any reason.

Option 1: delete from inside the app (fastest)

If you can still sign in, this is the easiest path:

1. Open ResetHive on the web or in the mobile app
2. Sign in with your email magic link
3. Go to your account page
4. Scroll to the bottom and tap the Delete account button
5. Confirm the action when prompted

Your account and the active account data listed above are removed when the deletion finishes.

Option 2: email request (if you cannot sign in)

If you cannot reach the account page but still have access to your sign-in email, email hello@resethive.com with:

• Subject line: Delete my ResetHive account
• The email address you used to sign up
• (Optional) Your username if you remember it

We will confirm your identity by replying to the email address on file and, once verified, delete your account within 7 days. We will confirm once the deletion is complete.

If you no longer have access to your sign-in email, use the contact form and explain the situation. We may need additional information to verify that the account belongs to you before we can delete it.

What is not deleted

Temporary infrastructure or service-provider logs may exist for security and reliability, but they are not used for ads, analytics, or tracking. Preferences or unfinished drafts stored only in your browser or app may remain on that device after account deletion. Clear ResetHive’s browser or app storage on that device to remove them. We do not use Google Analytics, third-party analytics cookies, or any other form of tracking.
